My 4 yr old nephew HATES getting dirty, dislikes bugs and is not a typical boy. He likes to be clean and wear shoes BUT after the rain storm Thursday, uncle Nathan (my hubby) said NO MORE! =)

Nathan had just gotten home from visiting his mom in Wisconsin and had brought back all his childhood toys. One of them was a parachute with a man hanging from it. Nathan went outside in his bare feet to throw it around. Cameron wanted to come out too but he couldn't find his shoes so he wanted Nathan to hold him. Nathan picked him up and then tried to put him down. Cameron was not having it. He tried everything he could not to have to put his feet down on the wet and dirty pavement. Nathan eventually won and from there the fun began. My sister lives next door so I had to call her and show her that her son was outside with NO shoes on and loving it! I also had to take pictures of the miraculous event and then had to post them on FB with the title "he's a REAL boy." LoL

Cameron ran in the puddles and kicked and threw H2O at us. He chased me up and down the sidewalk trying to throw H2O on me in his bare feet! (such an accomplishment for him) Then Nathan got the bright idea to make a paper boat to float in the rain H2O along the street curbs. Cameron LOVED it! It eventually got too wet to float anymore so we went back inside where soon after Cameron found the binoculars. All in all it was a very fun and memorable night.
